Royal Pride Day
It's royal pride day today. This week was school spirit week and I must say that I did not take full advantage of it. Monday was pajama day. Tons of faculty were in sweats, but I forgot that it was, so of course, no sweats for Meghan. Tuesday was wacky hair day. This I did do. I wish I had taken a picture, because it was funny. Not that it would matter anyway, as I don't have a way to post pictures on here. I got quite a few comments from kids and teachers because I put it in about 10 different ponytails that all stuck out and then I put my bangs in two ponytails and it was so funny. I looked like a weird alien bug creature. It was fun. Wednesday was Fake an Injury day. didn't do that either, but I should have, because again, a lot of staff wore braces of all sorts and wore sweats to work. And of course again, no sweats for Meghan. Thursday was Hawaiin day, which I didn't think that I had anything to wear, so once again no sweats for Meghan. But then I got to work and realized that I did have a couple of sarongs that I could have worn with flip flops. But who wants to see those winter-calloused feet anyway? Nobody I know. But today is a different story. I love royal pride day. The Royals are the teams that play at Valley Middle School and a school color is blue. (which happens to be my favorite color to wear anyway) So, since I had no "Royal" attire, I did the very best I could to show my school spirit by wearing all blue. And guess what? SWEAT PANTS FOR MEGHAN!! Today my work clothes consist of blue fleece sweat pants and a blue hooded champion sweatshirt with tennies to go with. It's marvelous. Needless to say, I'm enjoying my day.

Nice. We have casual Friday every week and I get to wear jeans. It's the best day...
