The Week Long Spring Break

Well, I got the long spring break that I've been crying about not having now that I'm less in the college world and more in the working world. The public schools only had Thursday and Friday off of school for their spring break, whereas University people got the entire week. I woke up on Monday morning, ready to tackle my three day work week, got ready, and drove to school. I was there for about 10 minutes when my body decided to notify me that my Kidney Stones were back and were not about to leave without a fight. A trip to the emergency room, two morphine shots, some heavy pain killers to go, and I was officially on my week long spring break. I think I'll not cry about that again. I would have rather worked during that time. So now I'm home, playing a waiting game until The Stones decide to pick up shop and move out. Hopefully they'll get a move on soon-I've given the eviction notice, but they're not taking kindly to the barrages of water that are trying to flood them out. I feel fine, but it's the kind of fine you feel when you hand in a paper. Most of the agony is over but you still have to wait for the final grade to see how painful it will actually end up being.

In other news, next week marks the start of the final quarter of this school year. I've been job hunting and applying and writing up smart sounding answers to ridiculous questions on those applications. It's still not over, but so far things look optimistic. I can't wait to move into the interviewing process. It starts soon: the end of the month.

Nothing else notable. I should get started on that annotated bibliography that is due shortly after break. What a pointless pain. So many pointless pains lately. :)
