Wait a minute.....
Well my summer is off and I feel quite busier than I had planned with everything that I have going on. I started, and LOVE, working as a secretary at my summer job. I work for a media production company called KAT Communications. It's always interesting, and challenging, and I enjoy it. I work there 15-20 hours each week. I'm also taking classes. Lots of classes. Who's idea was that again? But it will pay off in the end. Quite literally, so I guess it's OK. I just have to get motivated. Then there's been Campmeeting, which was very much a blessing for many reasons. I got to see some old friends, resolve some old issues, and was generally blessed by the evening speakers. Shawn Boonstra from It Is Written was there for the weekend, whom I found to be very inspiring. I really am not a big fan of his on the TV, but in person he's a bit more personable. Still not a big fan, but God is doing really awesome things through him and I like that he's willing to share and willing to go when God says so. What else? I'll be travelling some this summer. To Lincoln, NE and Michgan. I'm very excited about those trips. This weekend I'm home with my family. Which is always nice, and especially so this weekend because my great uncle is getting baptized by my uncle. What a wonderful surprise when my great grandparents meet him in heaven. Many, many answered prayers. See-we just never know what our influence or prayers can do. Or, what God can do through our prayers and willingness to be used. My great-grandparents are dead. My grandfather is dead. His younger brother has decided to follow Jesus after 60+ years of choosing not to. They prayed all their lives and I believe will be crying tears of joy as they meet their son by Jesus' side. So you just never know. Don't give up or get discouraged. God has a plan to use you and that plan may have farther reaching effects than you will ever, ever know. Keep that in mind.
