Caution: Under Construction

Finally, Miss wonderful Carissa helped me with formatting. Though it was great help, I have lots to learn. So please be patient whilst I try to tweak my colors and format and such. It's a challenge, let me tell you.

In other news, I subbed this afternoon in a 6th grade classroom. One of the boys has a major crush on me and it is just way past embarassing. He's such a flirt and has no sense of barriers. Me being the stupid transparent person I am, could not for the life of me wipe the stupid grin off my face. It was terrible. Mr. Casenova is batting his goofy little eyelashes at me and all I can do is smile. Uncomfortable is an understatement. I have never believed in mind over matter because I have never been able to accomplish this feat. Today was no exception. The only solution that I finally came up with was moving to a different part of the room while the kids were reading out loud. Now, you'd think that being primarily a high school teacher I would be able to deal with crushes. Well, no high schooler is going to be caught dead crushing on the teacher. Even the players have to be cool. Not 6th graders!! Glad I'm not going to be teaching them. Dodged a bullet there.

p.s. Please be advised that the statements above in no way reflect any mutual feelings or things of that nature. You're not reading Mary Kay Laterno's blog.

Carissa, I need to know how you got that picture instead of the star on your runner blog. I can't find the separator. It's driving me nuts. I found a picture i want to use in that spot where your runner picture is, but I can't find it in the template to insert it. Can you help me?
