It is stinky here! I have never lived in a stinkier place than in Grand Forks this spring. Whew is it sewer smelling. It is not good at all. It's been this way off and on for a few weeks now. At first I thought it was natural, due to the flooding on the river. Lots of water usually makes things smell. But that's usually if it's just standing water. Running water usually doesn't have time to sit and acquire a stink. But man does it stink today. This morning when I walked out to my car I thought for sure that I could just step in a big pile of poop at any second. It smells like an outhouse at a campground except not as stuffy. It's seeping in the windows of my apartment as I type. My nose crinkles at the stench. What, I ask, can possibly be causing this?! A shift in the wind? A leakage in some unknown underground plumbing? A clogged toilet? A lagoon? What?! Someone please send nose plugs. Or some large deoderizers. They could apply air freshener with crop dusting plains and make it smell like flowers. Lilacs. That'd be yummy. Lilacs are my favorite flower. Mostly because they smell so good. In fact, they used to have this lotion at Bath and Body that smelled just like lilacs, so when I heard that they were discontinuing it, I bought 5 bottles. I'm glad I did. It's so yummy. Unlike Grand Forks. Which is stinky. Just thought you should know.

Um...ok thanks, but my husband is a plumber and he knows how to deal with toxic gasses. If I have problems, I'm going to him, not stopthestink.com.

Also, if you actually read my blog you saw that it stank outside too. Around the whole town. It's unlikely that everyone's toxic gas emissions from their houses just all of a sudden increased so as to make the whole city stink.

It was the lagoon. Northwest of town. The wind was from the northwest. Figure it out filter people.

not a clue. i looked at their blog and they are some environmental thing. i think it was a spam-ish type thing, but i don't know how to block it. i thought the word verification took care of that type of stuff, but evidently not. i think they just must have a flag for anything environmental and then they spam whomever said it. so in short, no i do not know that person. :)

At least it wasn't an advertisement for porn. That would have been a lot more annoying and gross. This at least was mildly interesting and strange. See? We're commenting about it.
