If I had a business card

If I had a business card it would say

Meghan Kleven, M.S.
Special Education Strategist

That's the generic version. For this coming year it would also say "Learning Disabilities Teacher" because that's what I'll be.

I am done with school. For the first time in almost 20 years, I am no longer a student. I presented my Master's project on Friday morning, thus "fulfilling the requirements for a Masters of Science in Special Education." It went really well and I didn't know whether to skip or cry when I walked out of the building. I still haven't really processed the whole concept. Granted, I have been a bit busy with other things, like packing and moving and finding an apartment.

For the past week we've been (and by we, I mean me) packing our apartment. Boxes to the ceiling!! If it can't be cooked on paper dinner-ware, then it doesn't get cooked. Friday morning, as I mentioned, I presented my project. Then I drove to Bismarck and found an apartment. I'm excited about it. Hopefully I'll sign the lease Monday morning, clean Monday afternoon, and drive back to Grand Forks Monday evening. Big day. We'll move Wednesday if all goes as planned. The only hitch expected is the forecast. It's supposed to be 98 degrees in Bismarck on Wednesday. Oh boy.

So now I can take a deep breath for a little bit, mostly because school is over. God has been incredible the past two years and I have been blessed with his support and his loving provision of a family that supports me. Without our parents and the most important person in my life, my husband Justin, I couldn't have accomplished so much. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for and encouraged us these past two years.

So that's the update! I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, as some of you may have suspected. I've just been a little occupied. I'm graduated with my Masters, our apartment is packed, I have a job waiting for me this fall, and we have a place to live.

My ducks are in a row.

Meghan, your ducks are always in a row! When will you post pics of your new apartment?

hmmm....I'll try to figure out how. Do you have to have an on-line host for the pictures or can you just download them right onto the site? I forget. I'm not very picture fluent. :)
