My, it's been a long time. Shameful, really. I'll have to make more of an effort, for the three of you that keep casually checking to see if anything is new. There's a few things, I guess.
The summer went well. It was busy and went by too fast and I've decided that I'm not going to work next summer. I'm going to relax. I got all my classes done and had fun on my trips.
I also got pregnant. It's old news to most of you, but still exciting to us. Of course. I'm almost 4 months along, right at the start of my 16th week. We've heard the baby's heartbeat a number of times and my wardrobe is steadily declining in comfort and selection. I felt pretty icky for the first 12 weeks, but the last couple have been better, as long as I eat constantly. Which really bothers me. I've never been a snacker, but baby reminds me that if I don't eat, I don't feel so good. Which then lends itself to the wardrobe issue and my doctor saying "We'll have to watch that." Yes, thank you. So I've gained a pound or two. She's no Olive Oil herself. However, she is a doctor who specializes in pregnancy, so I'll refuse the urge to be insulted and make light of it by having a pudding cup. Or a bowl of cereal. Or something yummy. Baby says so. So there. I will have an Ultrasound on October 1st, when we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl. We're praying for a healthy baby, and if it was a boy that'd be nice too. :)
Well now you're updated. I can stop feeling guilty for not posting this and Carissa, you can tell people. :) Maybe someday I'll get high tech enough to figure out how to load my pictures, or maybe even my ultrasound picture. Or is that icky? Do people not want to see that? I've always been one of those people that thinks others share too much about their children, but it won't be long until I am one of such people. Whatever the case, feel free to reign me in.

We want all sorts of pictures! The ultrasound and photos of you! I want to see how much you're showing! I want a new photo every week!

OK, I'll try. Try, I say. I really hate figuring out how to put pictures on. Carissa, I need a task analysis of the process. When I had that macbook, no prob bob. So easy. Now it's gone. I have a feeling that if I just connected the camera to the computer things would happen, but we'll just have to revisit the issue.
